Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Cegonha is a fabulous sea front apartment with 2 large bedrooms one with an en suite bathroom. The large and private terrace offers fantastic views of the salt marshes and sea across to Faro City. Modern facilities include a shared roof top swimming pool, wifi, air conditioning, shutters on the windows and plenty of parking

Apartment Cegonha is a beautifully furnished 4th floor apartment with two bedrooms. Located on the first block at Maria Village Complex in Olhao. This 2 bedroom apartment has stunning views of the salt flats and sea and out to the Caribbean like island of Olhao.


Directly outside the 2 bedroom apartment is plenty off road parking and easy access to the building via an intercom system into a clean and secure foyer offering two lifts to the upper floors or an internal staircase.

The apartments are built over 4 levels with two apartments on each floor. Our 2 bedroom Apartment Cegonha is located at 4th floor level to take full advantage of the best views.

Once at the 4th floor our 2 bedroom apartment is entered via a solid wooden door into a large hallway delicately decorated with warm cream walls and wooden flooring.

Living Space

From the front door and hallway large double glass and light wood doors open out into the large open plan living space. Located to the rear of the living room is a sizeable black leather style corner unit sofa taking full advantage of the sea views from the 2 bedroom apartment. To the left of our 2 bedroom apartment with se views is a large solid wood dining table surrounded by black leather style roll back dining chairs. To the right is a Solid light wood television unit with cupboards. The large flat screen smart television can supply Portuguese tv channels and some European options. The living space has been finished with elegant pictures, ornaments and soft furnishing to give a very opulent feel. Giant floor to ceiling French windows that span nearly the width of the apartment give easy access to the private terrace and also amazing views of the slats flats and all the marvellous wildlife, including flamingoes if you are lucky!

The whole of the 2 bedroom apartment has good strong fibre WIFI. The living room also has the benefit of an ultra modern air conditioning unit. Within minutes it will offer either cosy warmth on the cooler winter nights or refreshing cool on those hot summer days.


To be found at the front of the apartment allowing you to take advantage of the sea views whilst preparing meals the kitchen is very well equipped to make the most of the incredible fresh produce and seafood the Olhao Daily market is so famous for. You will find a selection of fitted appliances to include a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and eye level electric oven. The kitchen also provides a microwave, capsule coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The mixed electric and gas hob is set into a stylish marble work surface and also benefits from an inox extractor fan.

We have spent time making sure the cupboards are well stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes, crockery, utensils, cutlery, cups and a selection of variety of glasses.

The kitchen also houses a small cupboard where the integral vacuum cleaner is fitted. You will also find some cleaning tools and iron and ironing board.This space makes a perfect storage space for your beach items and shopping trolley!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Both bedrooms in a 3 bedroom apartment face the rear of the apartment. The large master bedroom houses an excellent kingsize bed with a rich dark wood headboard. The rich dark wood theme continues
with bedside cupboards with lamps for added comfort. Two floor to ceiling windows give an abundance of natural light into the bedroom but equipped with electric shutters they can also make the room nice and dark for restful sleep and cool during summer. The master bedroom in our 2 bedroom apartment has the added extra of an ensuite bathroom, stylishly decorated in what and turquoise tiles it offers and full size bath with an over head shower along with a solid wooden vanity unit with space for cosmetics and toiletries. Above is a huge mirror. Then there is a white suite of a toilet and bidet.

The second bedroom in our super 2 bedroom apartment with sea views is a comfortable twin room with 2 singles beds with soft padded brown l style headboards and dark wood bedside units to match offering a feeling of warmth and comfort. Huge floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe offer plenty of storage for your holiday clothes. Each bedroom has its own very effective air conditioning unit. They offer instant and refreshing cool in the hot Algarve Summer months. Also warmth for those cooler winter evenings.

The second bathroom is decorated with cream and brown small tiles and offers a sense of luxury. You will find a walk in shower cubicle, a toilet and a large vanity unit with a turquoise glass sink sunk into the top and a large over head mirror.

Private Terrace

Our 2 bedroom apartment Cegonha really does offer some fantastic views from the private balcony. The salt flats that are so abundant in the East of the Algarve are teeming with wildlife and birdlife. They are particularly popular with Flamingoes. As the day changes so do the salt flats so there is always something to watch. You also can see the seas of the Ria Formosa and across to the Olhao Islands of Armona, Deserta and Culatra. We have placed a dining table and chairs along with 2 sun loungers on the balcony for you to be able to take full advantage of the ever changing vistas from our 2 bedroom Apartment Cegonha.

Communal, Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

To Find the swimming pool you ned to go up to the rooftop. The swimming pool is set into wood style decking to give comfort under foot

Surrounding the pool is sun loungers provide for your use by the Condominium Company.

The complex of Marina Village has many flower beds laid to local shrubs and traditional calcada parking spaces to keep with the local theme.

Within the centre of the complex is a square with selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.


Apartment Cegonha is a superb 2 bedroom apartment for those looking for a super holiday to explore Olhao and its old town but wish for modern and pleasant accommodation with the added extra of swimming pool to cool down on those hot summer days. As the Marina Village complex is so central there is no need to hire a car as both the train and bust station are nearby. It is also very easy to book taxis and Uber is also available.

Our lovely 2 bedroom comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Cegonha. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Premier Algarve  Holidays LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please ues this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
