Apartment Oleander is a lovely 2 bedroom, ground floor apartment based within a fairly new resort in the fishing village of Santa Luzia. The apartment complex surrounds a large communal swimming pool and smaller childrens pool. The apartment is the last in the block, sitting on a quiet plot with a small garden at the front and a view of the swimming pool.
Apartment Oleander is located just 5 minutes from the centre of the village and a short walk to the harbour front where ferries take you across to the main beach.
Upon entering the apartment you will see that the apartment has been furnished with ultra modern furniture throughout the living area with terracotta coloured tiles to the floor.
As you step into the apartment you enter a bright and open plan living area. There is a glass topped dining table with 4 complimentary white leather effect chairs. A white sideboard to one wall compliments this beautifully and a large wall mounted mirror hangs above. Double sliding doors from this dining space lead out onto the terrace at the front. The far end of this room is set as the lounge area, there is a large grey and white leather corner sofa surrounding the glass topped coffee table and lovely neutral coloured rug in the centre. A modern flat screen TV, offering a selection of European channels is set upon a matching glass low level TV stand.
This room also benefits from a wall mounted air conditioning unit offering both cool and warm settings making it an ideal apartment to stay in whatever the time of year.
The kitchen, just to the right of the main entrance door, is separated from the living area but with a large open doorway thereby still continuing the open plan living of this 2 bedroom, ground floor apartment. The kitchen in Apartment Oleander is very well equipped, offering a full-size fitted oven and ceramic hob with extractor above, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. We have also provided a toaster, kettle and coffee machine making for the perfect holiday breakfast. The kitchen is also stocked with a variety of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and pans.
The kitchen units are of a light oak colour with a speckled granite style worktop and is fully tiled throughout in a neutral colour tile.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The two spacious bedrooms of this ground floor apartment are set towards the back. The first bedroom offers a large double bed with neutral coloured faux suede headboard. Low level white bedside tables at either side with lamps offer both additional storage space and the night light for reading before bed. The light oak coloured laminate flooring makes the feel of this room soft and the neutral coloured rug compliments this. The bedroom is very spacious and also offers an abundance of wardrobe space. The room is finished with a splash of green soft surnishings and fresh white voiles to the large window which also benefits from shutters enabling you to keep the bedroom cool during the day of the hot summer months.
The second bedroom is a twin room set out with 2 single beds again with neutral coloured faux suede headboards. A bedside table and accompanying lamp sits between the beds. Again this second bedroom has built in wardrobes ensuring you have plenty of space for your holiday outfits. There is a large wall mounted mirror and soft neutral coloured rug to the floor. The large opening doors offer an abundance of natural light and lead out onto a small terrace area. The shutters to these can provide that cool dark feel at night time and keep the heat of the day out. The light oak coloured laminate flooring also features in here, continuing the soft neutral theme of the rooms.
Both bedrooms benefit from wall mounted air conditioning units.
This apartment also benefits from two bathrooms, the first is laid out with a shower cubicle, toilet and large basin set into a light wood vanity unit. Perfect for storing your holiday cosmetics. This bathroom is fully tiled with mosiac tiles to all walls.
Finally the second bathroom is fitted with a bidet, toilet, large basin set into a vanity unit and a large wall mounted mirror above. Here you also have the luxury of a full size bath with shower over and a glass shower screen.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
The apartment has a private terrace to the front where you will find a circular glass topped table and 4 chairs. It can be accessed via the sliding windows from both the internal dining area and the main entrance door. A small charcoal BBQ has also been supplied on the terrace allowing our guests to truly experience the Portuguese way of life. From this terrace there is easy access to the gardens and shared pool.
There is also a small terrace at the rear of the apartment, both bedrooms lead out onto this. We have placed a bistro set on here to allow you to relax and unwind.
From the front terrace you can see the pool area which is enclosed by a wooden fence meaning it is a safe haven for the younger members of your holiday party. In addition there is a small childrens pool next to the larger one. The gardens surrounding the pool area are lawned and have palms planted at various intervals.
Apartment Oleander offers some additional features including underground secure parking and a gated entry system into the actual complex ensuring your security at all times.
Each room in this 2 bedroom apartment has top quality air conditioning units which can be set to cool during the hot summer months but also set to heat during the cooler evenings in the winter months, making this apartment a fantastic choice for both a summer holiday trip, or maybe a longer winter sun stay.

Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.
The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at email@example.com.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference
Tab 2 Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome Book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans
Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us.
To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption.
We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Children and Babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
